It is designed with a chain nosepiece that is covered with a super flexible poly tubing that make it very flexible. Because of the flexibility of the noseband, riders don't hit that "dead spot" that is commonly felt with other hackamores. It offers plenty of whoa and can be moved up or down the nose depending on the horse's sensitivity.
