Bit Guards
Running Roan Tack brand bit guards are engineered to perform:
1) Made with either latigo or bridle leather, so they can stand up to slobber and sweat.
2) Measures 3" in diameter and thinner than neoprene bit guards.
3) The center hole is 1/2" in diameter (much smaller than rubber bit guards) so these fit snugly around most mouthpieces. The picture to the left shows our bit guard on a Goostree Simplicity bit.
4) Secured with leather laces instead of zip ties, so these can easily be removed and reinstalled on another bridle.
5) These can be installed easily on bits with long shanks or purchases...no stretching required!
6) Our bit guards are available with your choice of hair on cowhide or embossed leather! Get a pair of guards to match the rest of your tack!
